I Found This..........................................

...........in NYTimes while reading about to shootings at Fort Hood.
"Fort Hood, opened in September 1942 as America geared up for World War II, was named for Gen. John Bell Hood of the Confederacy. It has been used continuously for armor training and is charged with maintaining readiness for combat missions."
Out of respect for any service men and women of color (of which there are many) who are returning from or are preparing to be deployed to Iraq/Afghanistan, I think the name of this place should be changed, promptly. What an insult to people who are putting their lives on the line. That aside, those shootings were a terrible tragedy. That Maj. Hasan was already off his rocker with PTSD. I've read about soldiers who remotely control Predator Drones suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. War is so ugly. Everywhere. Even here at home. And es-es-es-es-especially in Heaven.
