Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's mating (mid Feb-mid March) season for
these critters. Every night for the past week
my dog, Frank and I have met a big boy wandering
the neighborhood looking for some local beauties.
Even though you'd think they have only one thing
on their mind, they won't hesitate to give a good
squirt. Give them a wide berth. They have an
accurate target/spray range of 12 to 15 feet.
Frank
took one right on the nose last year and he
most definitely remembers cause he sticks close to
me and doesn't go chasing. He lets out a little
belly growl but doesn't feel compelled to go through
the show down number. If you, dear reader,
should be so unfortunate as to get a dose
of stink, try this antidote: Don't bother with the
old tomato juice bath. It doesn't help. The best way
to get rid of the smell is to combine hydrogen
peroxide, baking soda, and liquid dish soap, and
immediately shampoo with that. If sprayed in the
eyes, flush them with water. It's stinky out there.
You be careful!
